Our History

he Mississippi Federation of Music Clubs (MFMC) was organized in 1916 and chartered by the State of Mississippi. Our mission throughout the years remains the same: to find and foster young musical talent, to aid and encourage music education, and to develop and maintain high musical standards throughout our state. We offer over 15 scholarships yearly to Junior-class age children as well as  4 scholarships to college-age students. MFMC has been honored to aid many outstanding young musicians from Mississippi as they began their musical journey and education.
